Are you looking for a place to escape too?   Then come visit us at the Happy Hermit Resort.  Located just 23 miles from Highway 95 via the Bunco Road, next to Silverwood Theme Park. 

With over 500 miles of Forest Service Roads and Mountain Trails, it's easy to get lost so make sure you have your map with you. 

If you enjoy the outdoors and the four seasons, and most of us that live in North Idaho do.  Then this is a place you have to visit.  We are THE ATV and Snowmobile destination right in your own backyard.

Mother Nature has a lot to offer, from wild mushrooms in the spring and fall to wild berries in the summer. A place where you can taste,
 (and I mean taste) the fresh air.  And there's no telling what kind of wildlife you might  see.   

From June to August come up for all the wild berries, many of which grow right along the roads.  Huckleberries are quite abundant as well as Elderberries and Thimble berries.  Just remember the bears like the berries too.

During winter months the trails are groomed regularly and the riding is fantastic.  Park in the Bunco parking lot and ride in for a great burger and something hot to drink.

Turn on Bunco Road off of Hwy 95 at Silverwood Theme Park.  Follow the Bunco Road for 3.5 miles, take a sharp left and go for another 3 miles and you will come to a big parking lot, many people park their rigs here and ride in.  Continue on Forest Service Road 332 for 6 1/2 miles.  Turn left of Forest Service Road 278.  Enjoy the next 9 miles until you come to the Happy Hermit Resort.
